You might have heard of Dutch-born, UK-based Tom van Deijnen's alter ego, tomofholland: he practically invented Visible Mending--or at least coined the hashtag on Instagram. What you may not know about this self-taught textiles practitioner, highly skilled knitter, and master craftsman is that he no longer mends, nor wishes to be in any way associated with mending.
